About Slater & Sheldahl UMC Churches

I am originally from Korea and have served churches in the Wisconsin Conference for the past eight years. I am now a member of the Iowa Annual Conference, and I feel deeply called to walk with people on our faith journey together and to serve our neighbors in Christ’s love.

One of my greatest joys in ministry is helping people feel welcomed, seen, and grounded in God’s grace, whether through worship, serving our neighbors, small group gatherings, or simply sharing life together.

I am a mother of two wonderful children, Hasom and Habom, who fill my days with laughter, music, and activity. My husband also serves as a clergy member in the Iowa Conference, and our dog (Noory) and our cat (Cookie) add even more warmth and joy to our home.

My hope is that our congregation will be a place where everyone, whether you’ve been here for years, are new among us, or are searching for a church home, can grow in relationship with God, each other, and the community around us.
